Join us for our Premiere Upland Game Hunt from
October 19-21, 2012
"All really wild scenery is attractive. The true hunter, the true lover of wilderness, loves all parts of the wilderness, just as the true lover of nature loves all seasons. There is no season of the year when the country is not more attractive than the city; and there is no portion of the wilderness where game is found, in which it is not a keen pleasure to hunt." - President Theodore Roosevelt
We invite you to join us, along with Tweed Roosevelt, great grandson of President Theodore Roosevelt, for the hunt of a lifetime! Sponsors, US military participants, dog handlers, cancer survivors and special guests will come together for an amazing weekend of hunting, fine dining, and fun in October! It's a weekend like no other.
Our gracious sponsors support military members from the North Dakota National Guard and Reserve to hunt pheasants and grouse with Roosevelt in the majestic North Dakota Badlands.
After the hunt during our Medora stay, we share stories around a campfire in the beloved area where Theodore Roosevelt lived and revived his spirit. What can be better than hearing the tales of Teddy Roosevelt and his impression of hunting the same land, told by his ancestor around the campfire?
This wonderful event will support the Bismarck Cancer Center Foundationas in helping to provide financial assistance as well as holistic services to help the body, mind, and spirit of the patients served during their cancer journeys.
If you are unable to participate in the hunt, but would like to provide help for Bismarck Cancer Center patients, your donation from $1 to $1000 can help regional patients and would be greatly appreciated. The Bismarck Cancer Center Foundation is dedicated to helping patients with the assistance and services they need. A donation of $15 can purchase one night of lodging during treatment. A donation of $50 can purchase a gas card for a rural patient in financial need.
